Version 0.2.7 of the MATE Software Updates Applet has been released!
The applet notifies you when software updates are available (using various back-ends like PackageKit, yumpdatesd, yum or apt-check) and spawns your software update client (like yumex, gnome-packagekit or update-manager).
This release brings the code base in sync with the recent MATE 1.6 release. It now supports both the standard libnotofy and the MATE-specific libmatenotify (deprecated) with the choice being made at compile time (if both are found, the former will be preferred unless specifically set otherwise).
